SEO Case Study: PODS Blog Success Story

Building Traffic On Strong SEO and Writing Principles

I had the opportunity to help build a new blog from 2,000 to 110,000 monthly visitors in just two years – transforming it into a powerful SEO engine for generating organic traffic and sales for PODS Moving and Storage. Working as a part-time contractor, I served as blog editor, writer and co-strategist, teaming up with PODS Content Manager Jesse Relkin (now CEO of C-POP Content Marketing). I also wrote and edited many pages on the PODS website to boost SEO, improve user experience and increase conversion rates. In short, Jesse and I learned a lot together and had a ton of fun while producing incredible results for PODS!


Highlights on what we accomplished in two years:

  • Increased organic blog traffic 55X to 1.3 million annual visitors 
  • Won top-3 Google rankings for highly competitive keywords
  • Achieved solid sales conversion rates and time on page
